Marc Jacobs got married this weekend to his longtime partner Char Defrancesco, in a New York wedding.
The chic event was attended by an array of models and celebs that the fashion designer has worked with throughout his dextrous career. So it makes sense that Kate Moss was in attendance at the event, along with her daughter, 16-year-old Lila.
While Kate wore a burgundy vintage dress by Janice Wainwright, Lila wore a metallic strapless dress with chunky black heels.
The mother and daughter duo looked adorable as they left the wedding together. Plus the family resemblance was uncanny:
Lila Moss landed her first modeling campaign in 2018, with none other than Marc Jacobs Beauty, so it makes sense that she was invited to the nuptials.
Of her adorable relationship with her daughter, Kate told Harper’s BAZAAR in 2018, “She teaches me everything.” Moss continued, “Lila and her friends follow all the beauty blogs and Instagram accounts, and she’ll be like, ‘Mum, you have to try this, it’s amazing what they can do now.’ She does all that contouring and stuff, which I’m sure they do to me when I’m at work, but I never pay any attention. I’m too busy talking.”
Speaking about her daughter’s future as a model, Moss explained, “For Lila and her friends, it’s hard because it’s all there on the phone, the Kardashian factor, it’s in their face much more than it was for us. It’s instant inspiration but also instant judgment.”
